I have over twenty years of bookkeeping and office management experience and have demonstrated an ability to create and maintain financial systems and apply hands-on bookkeeping skills.

My last position as an employee was at Indian Springs Resort and Spa in Calistoga, California.  I was the Business Office Manager from 1997 to 2005.  I was responsible for all aspects of the Business Office including sales reports, accounts payable, inventory, human resources, independent contractor records, insurance, bank accounts and supervision of the office staff.  I worked closely with the outside accounting firm, CPA, insurance broker and various banks. 

Other experience includes:

• Receivables and invoicing of approximately 500 customers.  Pricing was time sensitive and quantity specific with over a dozen weekly price lists as well as individual pricing for certain large customers.
• Administered payroll that included three locations and four unions for approximately 285 employees.  Responsible for all payroll record keeping and reporting including wage garnishments, union dues, pension reports, general ledger allocation, overtime reports and EDD labor reports.
• Managed daily cash and multiple bank accounts including reconciliations.  Worked with credit card processing and batching to bank.
• Prepared financial statements and other reports.  Converted manual accounting system to computerized general ledger package.
• Processed and reported 1099 information for independent contractors.
• Established and maintained receivables factoring, bank line of credit and SBA loan.
• Developed labor, material and overhead standards for manufacturing product costing and pricing.
• Managed inventories for retail and manufacturing.  This included monthly count, reconciliation and reporting.
